Here at Kingsbury Community, we are all for a sustaintable living. The all inclusive electric utilities of our properties are part of the green power movement. We have renewable engery certificates that provides our electricity used at the household. Our energy comes from 15% wind power from Western Wind facilities and 85% through California solar facilities. The result is a cleaner energy mix for our region and a smaller carbon footprint for our home. As a shared household, we reduce our carbon footprint by over 7,000 pounds of CO2 each year, which will reduce the average home’s carbon footprint by over 3,300 pounds of CO2 each year – that’s the environmental equivalent to not driving your car for three months
